Love this song. I was in a College Politics class where you needed to create a political party. Myself (Mi'Kmaq) and two of my friends (Ojibwe and Cree) formed the Indigenous Peoples Party of Canada. We had to pick a song to use as the opener of our presentation. We specifically chose this song because we knew it would cause a shitstorm and grab attention. It mist have worked because we got an A on the presentation haha.

For those that didn't know, the girl speaking is wendesday Adam's from the Addams family movie. They couldn't of done a better job using that classic audio from the Thanksgiving camp scene lolol

When i was on high school, we played this song on our band at a game against the "conquistadores" and it was soo cool that got us into trouble with our band teacher for playing it even thoe he said no multiple times. It wasnt straight like the song but we tried. Tubas and drums were playing at the breakdown with people stomping their feet on the benches to the point where they bend. On 2021 they were repleced due to damaged. They suspended some of my pals and me but it was worth it. Our mascot was a native american who we all honored and that day was legendary to the point where we still talk today.

WEDNESDAY ADDAMS: "Thank you Sara Miller. You are one of the most
beautiful person I've ever seen. Your hair is the color of the sun. Your
skin is like fresh milk. And everyone loves you. Wait, we cannot break
bread with you.

1:14 - You have taken the land which is rightfully ours. Years
from now my people will be forced to live in mobile homes on
reservations. Your people will wear cardigans, and drink highballs. We
will sell our bracelets by the road sides, and you will play golf and enjoy hot hors d'ouevres. My people will have pain and degradation. Your people will have stick
shifts. The gods of my tribe have spoken. They have said do not trust the
pilgrims. And for all these reasons I have decided to scalp you and burn your village to the
ground."

My teacher in elementary school (5th grade) showed my classes this group and I found this song during a class project. It has stuck with me so much. I live in a community/city where Indigenous peoples and their histories are respected and acknowledged and I just love this song it speaks VOLUMES
