Saharan dust forecast

This video shows a forecast by NASA's Global Modeling and Assimilation Office of Saharan dust moving in the upper atmosphere from the northwest African coast across the Atlantic Ocean through the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico to the U.S. Gulf Coast. The model begins at 7 p.m. central time on Wednesday, June 17, and ends at 4 p.m. on June 27.
