Easy to understand Norsk with your dialects and the way you are talking ( slowly and clearly) 👍🏻😁but Norsk not so easy to understand in everyday life with different dialects, slang and normal speech speed🤪

I’m surprised how similar the accent is to the Scottish highland accent. I knew the people there including my relatives are descended from a mix of Irish and Vikings from Norway but I didn’t expect the accent and rhythm to be that similar.

I'm an American that's been studying Swedish, and I have to say Norwegians and Swedes sound exactly the same. Like it's literally the same thing.

As a german native speaker who speaks Swedish, I understood everything even though I only speak a few words Norwegian.
I should learn Norwegian, it seems to come free if I put a bit effort in it 😮

As a Polish who is searching for new language to learn after english and german. I hear norwegian for the first time and... I dont even know when sentences are starting and ending. What is that language 😭😭😭😭😭

As a person that speaks English as a second language at a bit more than conversational degree and just started to learn German, at first I was like "yeah, it's actually quite understandable" but after the second sentence it all falls apart. Them Vikings are a scary bunch.
