google docs has an extension you can add called markdown… then you copy all content and paste markdown…. this formats it within documents

This does not work with Google Templates.
It only works when you create a Google document.

Ok, so this only works when creating a document? Updating a document will not work.

When I run chatgpt to docs it always give me "```html" at the very top. Any idea how to fix it?
