To clarify on the first strike advantage (counterattack occurs after HP loss from initial attack), AW does have it -- it's just that the battle animations show the counterattack start before the initial attack ends, to cut down on the animation's length. if a unit is going to die before they can counterattack, then no counterattack animation plays.

Say what you want about Chucklefish, this game came out pretty great. This is the step in the right direction. Like Nintendo they waited and polished the game up. It did take a hell of a long time but it was worth it

For those who dont know. Chuckle fish has another game called starbound and the plant girl is one of the main characters in that game. Its nice to see her reused.

I can relate to Binyot over that; I'd like to see Advance Wars rebooted with Dual Strike's Characters and Mechanics. After all, Sturm was never explained more than just being an alien. It'd be cool to see some of his alien buddies show up.
