I request YouTubers to not play with the feelings of true Polo fans by mentioning the next generation polo in India because we all know that VW has denied such claims. It has now become a cheap tactic.

It was launched at 25 lac ex-showroom 5 years ago...which was reduced to 20 lacs when it was not selling. This time it will cross 30 lacs for sure.

The first 3 Polo GTIs were bought by Kerala clients at 33 lakhs. The last car was bought in Chennai which was sold at 19 lakhs and it was a demo car. So I believe this New Polo GTI will cost above 30 ex show room. Not to forget it’s longer wheelbase and higher tax.

It will be 30lakhs ex showroom price atleast its sold today in India via CBU route. Very few People will buy it at first then it will sell for half the price because people will wait for massive discounts to happen on it and once it does they will pounce on it like a Tiger waiting for his prey hidden away in the bushes 😂.

A 2 litre EA888 in a hatch is most definitely going to sell like crazy. So I guess if this is true VW group has decided to bring the Polo GTI here like the the Octavia RS brought by Skoda. A 2 litre petrol with a DQ250.

Why do they bring CBU units here, they know its gonna cost more and it wont sell just because of the price.
5 years ago the GTI cost was around 25 lac, and we hardly see it on roads
