They clearly took inspiration from Ocelot from Metal Gear:The Phantom Pain.

They pull Walter's character off very well. It makes sense once you reach one of the endings. It's exactly the kind of thing Ocelot would do. And Wlater is always thninking ahead. This vid is showing how Walter takes note if you do.

You know, if you really think about it. All that "keep it to the mission" talk is just another way of saying stop stressing yourself too much. It sounds like someone who's failed at things a few times so now he's just going through the motions. That's what Walter sounds like.

Chapter one is about as far as he went previously it seems from Sulla's talk. So when 621 subverts his expectations or does something interesting he's 'having fun' and this time he cares even more. He's given a walking stick to someone who's largely unwanted and abandoned a long time ago. A guy like that, man he's a gem!

Another difference in dialogue. When flying away from the big mining rig, if u barely make it out the explosion radius you get an alternate dialogue.

Wait I can't believe the first thing I did in the game was get used to the controls before continuing the first level and I accidentally used a repair kit at the start of the first mission and said this line
