Hi Fran! I just built one of these (I hope you don't mind - I'm a very poor care worker, if I don't make a pedal I'll never own it)
I just wanted to chip in that I don't think it sounds like a cream puff.
I think it sounds like a thousand robots destroying eachother.
I love it. You're a genius.
Thank you x

In the words of Nigel Tufnel, "The sustain, just listen to it"

Opamp based fuzz circuits are my weakness, can't believe I haven't heard this one before, brilliant stuff Fran!

Just... wow. A fantastically thick sound that... for some reason totally reminds me (and this is going to sound really silly) of C64 music - in a really good way! Amazing!

I like to listen to music when I go for a walk, so got to turn it up really loud so I can hear it 6 blocks away. Like this....

This is one of my all time favourite pedals Fran. It's good. Would love to know what inspired you? If it was a certain big muff model? I love the big muff sound, and the Creampuff is one of my favourite fuzzes.

Nice sounding pedal. Makes that strat sound fat. Love the tone at 0:56. Sounds like a humbucker :D

Diode. But a tube version should get close using a 12AX7, 12AT7, 12AY7 or 12AU7. My hot rodded Marshall JCM 900 MkII had sustain for over 60 sec. I counted it out to 60 slowly and then gave up. The sustain and hi-gain is why I enjoyed that Marshall, that and the Loud volume. I am a violinist and I prefer long sustain on account of that.
I just added a tube headphone amp into my rig. I use a Mixing Board. It takes some "dialing in" to get the volume vs. gain sounding nice but it does add that "Tube" Mojo into the mix when I use my S.S. amplifiers.
I would say your creation is an excellent final product. I would love to purchase one of them.

I remember seeing this pedal years ago online back in the late 90s i think. Always wanted one. Hope to get one someday. Is it an IC based fuzz, or transistors?

I see what it does but not being a musician it's kind of lost on me - but still I like the build quality.

Do you use 1/2 watt pots because they are more robust or is there an electrical reason?
I am guessing the former?
Does these tend to get beat around a lot by the musicians?

Hey, Fran! How do you think this would sound on a Burns Gold Dream?
I'm really torn between the Cream Puff and the Peach Fuzz. What would you recommend for a retro rhythm rocker w/ a penchant for Psychedelia, and Garage w/ a weird British rez-o-matik pick-up set-up? (I'm leaning towards the Cream Puff, but since I have to order it, I'd appreciate the advice)
You rock, sister!
