People even debating this right now is hilarious. He’s still got a good 3-5 years on a loaded Celtics squad to add to his accolades and championships. IF it was only based upon today’s resume I’d still say he’s in based upon all around game and really being a top 2 option with the Bucks championship run, but also a big piece of the Celtics title as well. There were faint MVP considerations in this past Finals appearance. His all around game and work on the defensive side of the ball, especially after the hype of the Dallas backcourt being “the best ever”, solidifies his reputation as a lockdown defender. That’s a pretty complete body of work in my eyes and he’s only going to add to that. HoF player with HoF character. Jrue is under appreciated in this era of basketball.
