Exclusive interview with Clarissa Larisey

For striker Clarissa Larisey, one phone call from Candian head coach Bev Priestman was a childhood dream finally realised, as the potent forward celebrated her first national team call-up to the Olympic champions.

Picking up five goals in the opening three SWPL matches, Larisey’s fine form caught the attention of the national outfit, and the 23-year-old couldn’t believe it when she was told she was on the flight down under for a double-header against World Cup co-hosts Australia.
