It’s always so crazy to me how even amongst fanro fans who love the same series books can hit so different! Gold was one of my most disappointing reads and Songbjrd was an easy 5 stars. Always love hearing your take! Here’s to not overhyping new releases in 2025 haha

😍ln 2025 I highly recommend everyone to read Your Life Your Game by Keezano. It beautifully shows how connecting with God and building meaningful relationships can lead to spiritual growth and success in both your personal and professional life. This book truly changed my life..a must-read. God bless🥰

Interesting to see some books/authors that were much loved when they were self published, but are having lots of hard reviews by the the bookish girlies now that they’re being traditionally published. Yes, I’m looking at The Songbird and the heart of stone, but also Fear the Flames. 🤔 Are professional editors cutting our favorite scenes? Don’t know…

I almost ended my year with 2.5 stars book but then I decided I still can finish a novella and end my year with better book. I enjoyed Stuck with you by Ali Hazelwood but my favorite book was Twisted shadows by Allie Therin on December 😊

🗡 One of my biggest disappointments last year was also one of my most anticipated reads of the year: I picked up Wisteria last month (Belladonna #3) and it was beyond disappointing. The crafting of the story came across so amateur-ish. I am even considering not picking up another Adalyn Grace book in the future. The Spectacular novel off of the Caraval series was another waste of my time. My favorite read was Guillotine by Delilah Dawson! BTW, I have 200 pages left to read of Goldfinch, so I am just about ready to see your much-awaited Plated Prisoner vlog! 🤤✨️💛

I feel the exact same way about songbird! I love Carissa Broadbent. She’s an auto buy author for me but this wasn’t it at all. I DNFd it. I’ll have to go back and finish when the next book comes out but I was just disappointed

My favorite book in Dec was the last book I read for the year, which was The Winners from the Beartown series. SO SO GOOD!! I'm sorry yours ended on a disappointing note! I'm wondering if you've read the trad pub version of Fear the Flames and if you feel it's any better or worse? I do worry trad pub will ruin the spark of indie authors! 😢

💯 same on TS&tHoS it felt like a different person wrote it. My favorite December book was Beartown. ⚔️

I feel like I'm in the minority with The Songbird and the Heart of Stone. While I'll admit the romance wasn't as strong as her other books, I still thought it was decent, and the world building just felt amazing in this one! The underworld was such a vivid place and I really enjoyed watching their journey through it.
