It's been a while since I've done a Windows Start Menu evolution video, and now here's a video showing not only client builds (Windows 95 to 11) but also Server, Windows Phone and other Windows derivatives!

Its safe to say that Windows 7 gave me the most nostalgia, I remember using Windows 7 in one of my school computers, great times that doesn't come back anymore, sadly. Although Windows 10 may seem good but for me it feels quite of bland.

I just remember when my dad have laptop with windows xp inside, and it's my first time to see the windows, when i am just only 1 year old. And i cannot use that. but it already broken and cannot use anymore, and i have feeling about on windows 7 as well, when i can play games on that laptop, and windows 7 is my first time the OS i use, and nostalgia brings back to my brain, thank you for making this!!

Brilliant! The nostalgia of using Windows since its first versions brings back memories of computers with each version that appeared for computers. Until we reached the 11 that I liked the most. 💻 ❤

There is a few versions You could have included, but didn’t.
Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs(FLP), Windows POSready and Windows Home Server 2007 and 2011.

I remember having windows 7 fr. I was grade 1, i saw a computer and my aunt teachs me how to control the computer and gave some games and download movies i watch many times, and it ended support so my aunt upgrade it to windows 10 good times.

Windows XP are nostalgic.

You can use mods to get these start menus back. I used the Windows 7 Mod with Open Shell.

It was simple, well thought out and extremely intuitive from 95 to 7. Anything 8 and on just looks like a goofy confusing mess.

Server Windows seems has less pre-installed programs on Start menu/screen in Win8. I don't know, is it there people who use this Windows on their PC (for personal use)

Started Windows with Windows 98 and Windows XP Professional. That Silver and Olive Green Themes of XP, Pinball 3D all are nostalgia. Then of course, Windows 7 Ultimate. Purble Place, Chess Titans and Mahjong Titans. The aero glass transparency. After that I jumped to Windows 10 Pro and now I have Windows 10 22H2 version.
