Question Doctor: i was put into an ultra low dose CT scan for my lungs and because the lead mask I was wearing (which they gave me to protect my sensitive eyes) was worn too low that it covered part of my upper neck area, I was ordered to be put into the CT scanner again for a 2nd run. I just want to know if i was exposed to x2 the radiation, or they only covered the unscanned area during the second run, or was the two runs necessary dosage for my detailed lung imaging?
