I love the fact that they haven't edited out the work process, very generous of them. At first I thought, what? Musicians of this calibre don't know this tune? But yes, nobody knows all of the Jazz canon, refreshing. Thanks. They nailed it.

Nice to see and hear the great bass player member of the Viavattine musical family, Caropepe and Palermo family, sounds great as always, thank you for posting, very enjoyable.

Bass and drums solos were really amazing. And the piano was great throughout

Thanks for sharing the process!

As Jazzlive puts it, during the first minute you might get the impression that these people are not quite up to the job. Hang around a bit, and there's some bloody nifty playing going on. The pianist has really inventive ideas; he seems to be able to go on and on without repeating himself. They've made this little turnaround ditty quite sparkly. Nice work boys! Carry on.

Wasn't that pianist the leader of the band on Arsenio Hall?

Nice playing but they're missing a couple of changes in the progression. There's a Gm7 to C7 near the end of the melody phrase.

if you just listened to the first minute, you might think these guys are kind of hacky, but keep listening and the pianist kills
