I lived in the UK for 18 years and have been back in SA for a month.
My daughter has a huge garden and cape gooseberries growing wild in the garden.
So looking forward to many gooseberries

Thanks for sharing Dani! The fruit does look yummy! Looks like you still have your finger bandaged. Hope it’s getting better!

Totally agree with you…a DELICIOUS fruit. My first plant I got from a plant sale in May and it GREW! But didn’t fruit till September o so, so not long enough to get many fruits. So I got another one, put it in a cold greenhouse overwinter, citrus the old stems down first so it ‘hibernates. In the spring, start watering & feeding, and they’ll produce from July onwards (maybe earlier if it’s a good summer) So worth trying!
Thank you for the video…not sure how you took your cuttings though. Tip cuttings, in September or October?

Hi there Dani, love your channel. Knew I had to subscribe. Do you think it's possible to keep the physalis inside the house on a window sill?
