My mom was in foster care for a bit. She was an early baby boomer baby. She told me that the biological child of her foster mom was nice and sweet in front of her mom. When bedtime came and my mom thought she was going to share a bed with the girl she told her.

"You are not sleeping in my bed😈! You can sleep on the floor!"

Mom said she cried and cried and the floor was cold.

Miss my mom. She was loving, sensitive, and extremely protective of her kids.
