You can start Fields but he’s in his fourth season and just evaluating what he’s shown in these two preseason games from a passing standpoint he’s the same guy. Talent is there but he still can’t read the field. I don’t foresee him staying with Pittsburgh after this season unfortunately.

So y'all are going to show only the bad plays w russ. But then Dan admits they wasn't no pocket to throw from and multiple things were putting them in 3rd and long situations. He admits that something that Russell can't control. When you first play a defense they are fresh so you're getting their best. By the time Justin came in he was going against the backups or third place defense member s and still could not score. But these people will tell you Russell is this or that and not say Justin Fields has not scored a touchdown in two games has two fumbles. But he should start come on man get off the gas. Russell cannot make the field goal kicker kick it and get points. But then y'all want to give credit to Justin fields that he got three points. It's a lot of bad analytics. Everybody knows you can't play football with Justin Fields escaping and running. He almost got three fumbles in two games

Ik it’s just preseason and he’s coming off an injury but Russ didn’t look like an NFL QB, he just felt off the pace entirely. Which is scary bc his experience and high floor is everything going for him

Fields gives the Steelers their best chance. With that being said they’ll struggle this year. By the time the team starts to gel, they will be facing a gauntlet of a schedule.

Preseason has gone about as bad as can be. Oline play garbage, Wilson injury, plus additional player injuries. Gonna be a long year if this doesn't get fixed. No more excuses. Another average year should spell the end of the road for Tomlin. He brought these players and coordinators in. He should be held accountable.

Pittsburgh has a really horrible offensive line. They are just attacking the QB's both of them and not allowing them time to flourish. I feel bad for both Fields and Wilson. I have no idea why they didn't address these issues in this year's draft. Seems like it should have been priority #1.

Justin’s completion % is 70% right now. That was Wilson’s first preseason game. It’s preseason. Things are still being worked out. Mike Tomlin will put the best team out there that he can. Right now I’m riding with Fields but the season hasn’t even started.

Probs would be best for Russ to start. We’re not gonna win anything this year so let’s keep the wear and tear off fields and keep working on the line and receivers

I’m all for getting creative but when they suggest using both QB’s I have to assume it’s for ratings. The offense runs off the style and energy a QB brings and you can’t go from one to the other consistently. JF can get you 23 points easy and if the team plays well he can get you 30. I like Russ but he had his time. Help JF get some of that unlimited confidence he has.
