In this episode I’m exploring an abandoned mansion worth $3,000,000. The property was originally built in 1979 and was owned by a wealthy banker. After going bankrupt, the bank owner generously gifted the mansion to a rabbi who lived there until his death in 2014. The mansion has sat abandoned and decaying ever since.

DISCLAIMER: @00:07 I said the mansion was abandoned for almost 50 years and I meant to say it was built about 50 years ago. It has been abandoned since 2014:)

Wow what a mansion! This place was gorgeous in its hay day! So sad it’s abandoned & withering away! Love the kitchen! Awesome video bro! 👍👍❤️✊🤘

1:00 - Holy crap, Luke! You're one risk taker!
1:20 - The indoor awnings are so 1980's!
1:46 - Another thing from the 80's was the track lighting. I hate track lighting. lol
2:30 - That's a commercial door going to the pool. That's odd!
2:55 - Built-in appliances were considered the pinnacle of luxury when I was a little girl.
3:30 - At this point, I'm inclined to think that you're a little bit crazy. 🚔
4:20 - Thanks for showing the ceiling. Whomever paid to build this house got seriously taken for a ride. They should have encased the raceway with conduit instead of stapling all those wires to the studs. What a mess.
4:35 - ...and all those can lights. If you used old-school incandescent light bulbs, you would need a commercial power service installed to run this.
5:30 - These were standard TV sets for security/surveillance in the 1980's.
5:50 - Now you're playing cat and mouse with the police. This is the part of the video where things get really exciting! lol
7:35 - Wow! This looks like a scene straight out of MTV's Cribs!
8:15 - My parents had a bathroom like this when I was growing up in NYC. There were mirrors on every single wall. I hated that bathroom, and I developed a legitimate fear of mirrors.
9:45 - A disappointing view. 😂
10:10 - 👮‍♂⁉
11:20 - If this were my place, I'd have a climbing wall in the front entrance! Or maybe a ropes course. Yes, definitely a climbng wall and a ropes course.
12:05 - This looks like the pediatric care center at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY! 🤣
12:35 - Imagine if they had a bunch of pinball machines here...
13:15 - When I was a child, everyone had refrigerators that looked like this. And they were built like tanks, and would last forever! Those were the days!
13:50 - And now we find out the reason why the police were outside. You're looking at tens of thousands of dollars worth of medical supplies that someone has cached here. Those green tops are Sodium Heparin. I used these all the time as a Paramedic. The Heparin ensures that the blood in the container remains fluid for days.
14:15 - N95 masks have become the standard for medical/surgical use.
14:34 - These ones are used in toxicology, mostly.
15:45 - For $3M, I'd rather have a cabin in the woods on a lake. 🛶

Another fantastic video! Well done my friend!

Great explore Luke. Nice find. Just goes to show, not matter how loaded you are, it doesn’t buy taste! That shower room with the black and white wallpaper was an epileptic seizure waiting to happen ;)

Have a great holiday break. Just a few more photo edits to finish from a gig on Friday and I’m done.

Hi Luke: Happy Sunday!! First, I have to say that the two of you made me nervous the entire time. I kept thinking: What is their back-up plan if security (it didn’t look like a police car?) comes in? I’d hope you would be able and/or prepared to scale down the wall to get out. 🚓 As someone who has developed health problems over the years I also get concerned about your health as you walk around black mold and hope you are safe from that as well. 🙏 But as to the video, it was fascinating and I imagine that buying and renovating it would not be inexpensive. 💰 💰 What doesn’t help is the fact it’s not on an attractive piece of land. The indoor pool was quite a feature but other than that there are many more luxury homes that have much more to offer. Now I really enjoy history so perhaps one day you could look up more about the history of where you visit and provide more backstory. I know I’d listen. 🎧 I hope you have a very Merry Christmas!! 🎄 🎅🏻 🤶

Another stellar explore!! Love that pool, the overgrowth hanging from the ceiling fan was gorgeous.
If it had been mine, I wonder how many times I'd end up bonking my head on those chandeliers...
I feel like that's an awkward place for a pool table.
Everything in here was just fascinating; the staircase, the spiral stairs, the decor...yeah, that fixture on the right was a bidet, I'm pretty sure (bidet to you, good sir!).
Thanks for sharing, I hope you have a fun and safe Christmas, see you on the next one! 👍😁🔥❄️🎄

I don't think my last comment went through, but I love the design of the place and how each room has different wallpaper!! And I'm glad you were able to avoid that cop!

Those very small tvs are security monitoring or used too, lol
3 other people had been there recently & there was no security or cops there during their exploration . & each of them say it's 3 different people's home & different stories on it .
