Meine Reaktion auf Dimash Kudaibergen – 'Ikanaide' | 🎤

Hey Leute! 😊 Heute nehme ich euch mit auf eine emotionale Reise, denn ich reagiere auf Dimash Kudaibergen’s Performance von "Ikanaide". Wenn ihr Dimash kennt, wisst ihr, dass er einfach anders ist – und das meine ich im absolut besten Sinne. 😅

"Ikanaide" (übersetzt "Geh nicht" oder "Verlass mich nicht") ist so ein gefühlvoller Song, und Dimash bringt das einfach perfekt rüber. Die Art, wie er seine Stimme kontrolliert und gleichzeitig so viel Emotion transportiert, hat mich echt beeindruckt. 😮🎶

Ich hab jedenfalls die eine oder andere Gänsehaut bekommen und bin gespannt, ob es euch genauso geht. 😆

HI Jenny. Ich finde es herrlich, wie du deine Gedanken einfach so spontan rauslässt. In gemässigter Form tue ich es auch in meinem Privatleben, aber nur bei Dears Treffen z.B. in Hamburg kann ich alles rauslassen.
Dimash ist ein einzigartiger junger Mann und ich bin so froh, ihn vor 2 1/2 Jahren entdeckt zu haben. Er bringt so viel Freude in mein Leben 😁
Es ist auch vollkommen egal, wie alt man ist, Dimash kann man auf so viele Arten "lieben".
Auch als ältere Frau kann nan weiche Knie bekommen, wenn Dimash seinen Charme einsetzt. Ich sage immer, ich bin älter, aber nicht tot. Und mein Hirn denkt sowieso, ich bin noch 30 😂
Ich freue mich schon, wenn du die vielen verschieden Songs von Dimash anguckst und wir dich auf dieser Reise mit Freude begleiten können.

I believe this actually was a live performance, in that Dimash sang "Ikanaide" live for the Tokyo Jazz Festival Live stream in January 2021 as it was being recorded. Someone else pointed out that this was performed from Dimash’s studio in Beijing, where he was going through a month of quarantine before taking part in the “Shine Super Brothers” TV show.

Another very enjoyable reaction. This has become one of my favorite Dimash performances, and it invokes a very visceral response in me, just as "Ave Maria" did. According to several native Japanese speakers, Dimash's pronunciation of the lyrics is nearly flawless. One native speaker, who gave a detailed analysis, stated that he is "expressing Japanese more (better) than Japanese" and that he does not only perfectly pronounce Japanese but "expresses Japanese…with Japanese emotion." Goro Matsui, who wrote the lyrics to "Ikanaide, " posted on his Twitter account that he had never heard a foreigner sing in Japanese in such a beautiful way.

Tamaki Kōji composed the music and performed the song in 1989. "Ikanaide" became the title song for the Chinese-Japanese TV series "Farewell, Li Xianglan, " filmed that year. It is the story of Yoshiko Yamaguchi, a beloved Chinese-born Japanese actress and singer during World War II who hid her Japanese heritage under the name Li XIanglan. Following the war, when the Chinese became aware of her Japanese heritage, she was accused of being a spy and sentenced to death by firing squad for treason and collaboration with the Japanese; she had been involved in the production of Japanese propaganda films. Thanks to the intervention of influential friends, she was cleared of all charges but urged to leave China or risk being lynched.

She resettled in Japan, where she would continue to enjoy a successful acting career. In the 1950s, she moved her acting career to Hollywood and Broadway under the name Shirley Yamaguchi but returned to Japan in 1959, retiring from acting. She would go on to become a TV presenter and eventually a politician. She did not return to China for nearly 20 years.

In 1990, "Ikanaide" was translated into Cantonese and sung by Jacky Cheung using the same melody. Later, the song was rewritten and translated for Jacky Cheung to Mandarin under the title "Late Autumn." In 2004 the Taiwanese singer Terry Lin adapted the song into a new version titled "In Deep Autumn, " with lyrics written by Daryl Yao.

Dimash chose the 2004 Taiwanese version arranged by Terry Lin with Mandarin lyrics for his performance at the 2017 "I Am A Singer" competition but gave it his own interpretation and titled it "Autumn Strong." This song went on to earn Dimash the "Best Foreign Singer" award during the Golden Melody Award in Hong Kong.
