There is a very simple solution to anyone undercutting wages: ENFORCED minimum wages, meaning minimum wages that are ALWAYS paid to EVERYONE and if not, the employer will have to pay a substantial fine the first time and get his business closed down the second time. Then nobody could blame migrants any more since all would earn the same anyway.

I'm Western European and I'm a permanent resident of the UK, I continue to be a citizen of the European Union, at my job they pay 15 pounds an hour on my shift there are only three Brits and the rest are Eastern Europeans

Moved to uk due to meeting my fiance from here in Scotland, moved from Sweden and got a job in 2003 here in Scotland and it was 6.20 and hour. At that time in Sweden my job was 25 Pounds an hour. Keep in mind cost of living was lower in Sweden.
