The life of veteran politician John Keen

For a man who was born of a white English father and a black Maasai mother, John Keen described himself as a person who only saw human beings and was never shaken by the racial division that Kenya was undergoing in the 1920's at the time of his birth. Despite him being the son of a wealthy white land owner, he never inherited the vast tracts of land that his father left behind after his death.
