For anyone curious, Casper here is a Great Pyrenees, a Livestock Guardian dog originally known for protecting sheep. If I recall correctly, Casper had a lot of blood on him when he was finally found.

Most of it wasn't his.

Casper was a 20 month old dog, who fought 1 againt 11 coyotes. He managed to kill 8 of them.he was gone for 2 days and his owners tought he had died, as they found trails of his tail and ear . Turns out the two days he was missing he spent hunting the rest of the coyotes, when he returnex home he immedietly received medical treatmean.
