It reminds me, growing up in Port Harcourt. I attended County Grammar School, Ikwerre/Etche and we had Mr. G.I. G. Toby at the University of Nigeria Nsukka who later became Deputy Governor, Rivers State. He used to come to Ikwerre/Etche teach us music at the invitation of late Emma Acheru. Chanting the Psalms was one of his specialties. And then at St Thomas Church, Diobu and St Cyprians, downtown, Port Harcourt it was songs songs and more songs. I can sing alot of the hymns, A& M. Great years growing up.
