Thanks for making me laugh! I plan to knit the Westknits Kal after I see a couple clues. I never knit mysteries because usually I do not like the finished project. I have gathered my yarn and will patiently wait. The thought of cables, hopefully, caught my attention.

I am participating!! This will be my first Steven West and my first MKAL. I'm so excited. I also decided to supplement and by that I mean that I bought my 2 main colors but I bought yarns that would coordinate with a pop skein that I already had. But now I'm debating between 2 similar(ish) skeins that I have that would both work. Ugh no matter what there is always so much decision making in starting a new project.

So excited for you both to go to Rhinebeck! Be prepared for very big crowds and lots of bees by the food area! I’ve been a few times but the last time was 2018 and it was packed but still a great experience. Also, the weather can swing from cold enough for snow to high 70’s and very warm so layer!! Maddie, I am not a shawl person but I seriously need to cast on a Travel Mode 2.0!

I am doing the MKAL, purchased an accent and using stash for main/contrast. Colors navy, cream and green.

I decided not to do the MKAL, I think his patterns are just a bit too wild for me to knit them blind! I do love some of the kits this time though, so maybe I’ll knit it this winter.

Maddie, now I want to do that Travel Mode scarf, it’s gorgeous! I have SO MANY WIPS right now, I need to finish a few first…

Christen, if you pinned that sweater to your bra straps would it help hold it up? Or would it just pull your straps down? It looks so good on you!
