CSX Spirit Of West Virginia #1, Disappears Into Lambs Ferry Tunnel! Kentucky Trains, L&N

CSX Spirit Of West Virginia #1 disappears into a tunnel! CSX main line ex Louisville & Nashville Railway line crossing Kentucky and into Cincinnati Ohio. 2 railroad tunnels here for directional train running. Very busy ex L&N main line at Ryland Kentucky. Only 5 minutes after I got here, a long manifest freight came northbound. About 30 minutes later, this huge grain train came by northbound also. Trains operate on 161.370 and I have filmed the Ringling Bros And Barnum & Bailey Circus train going through this tunnel the last 2 years that the circus train operated. Filmed May 1, 2015 with IPhone 4.
Update: About spring of 2022 the tunnel to the right was closed. The entire siding was removed but they left the track in the tunnel.

Hi JT, Ive found the video! Awesome number 1, yes ive seen you filming here before, its a great place with the 2 tunnels, we have a 2 tunnel train tracks near us that go through some mountains for over 5 miles it was freight only but sadly closed in 1981. 😊

Super cool catch of the #1 Sprit of WV going into the old Lambs Ferry tunnel! Is the track that the train is on the mainline? I've never been down to Ryland myself, just to the CC Sub at Latonia.

Nice.  The only 'Spirit' CSX diesel I've ever seen was the 3099 'Spirit of West Springfield' Safety Train ES44AC that passed through Sterling, Ohio, during the second half of 2016.
