A friend of mine went to this and she said the biggest difference now is people outside of the march are applauding the protesters.

It's up to the EU27 whether to look at any application from Britain.
At the moment it's a non runner.

We couldn't rejoin anyway.
Do you really think the EU27 will all unanimously vote in favour of the UK rejoining?
Absolutely no chance.
Get over it.
Its over 👋👋👋

There is a very good reason to discuss crowd size, it shows the level of support for the movement. What the UK did, by voting to leave, was shoot itself in the foot. You had eight years to blame the right wing and say this was all the fault of the Tories, ignoring the evidence in front of you that the left wing also supports brexit (various unions support it, Corbyn is anti EU, Labour have said nothing official against it). And now the people of the UK overwhelmingly voted in that brexit supporting party as a replacement for the other brexit supporting party. Then you have a march and instead of millions, or hundreds of thousands, you get the kind of support that, if you are honest, is disappointing.

But I can kind of understand why people voted Labour. I guess they hoped they had voted in a kind of Robinhood who would make for a fairer society. Ah but instead they take from the cold elderly people, and force long term sick back into work. I guess this is new socialism at work. A socialism that likes to blame the old and the sick for society's problems.

USA, France, Germany etc....Inflation rising in these and other countries fueling cost of living crisis, migration issues causing problems in above countries too..those countries did not have a brexit moment.

And if we rejoin and nothing changes, what will we blame then?
