No!Use alignment tool.Then install seal last.Only after you torque the plate up a video that shows this done correctly

Thanks for the video! I think you need to mention that your suppose to let the seal sit for at least 4 hrs to conform to the crank and also the crank needs to be dry. Don’t lube seal also.

Im sure its fine but the seal is not bottomed out. it actually wedges tighter against the rear cover when fully seated. OI made the mistake of adding lubricant to the inner diameter but isnt leaking at the moment.
