Wait… The Switch 2 Changed THIS?!

Nintendo Switch 2—yeah, okay. But I’m not sure about this design. One of the most iconic parts of the original Switch was sliding in the Joy-Cons, giving it that distinctly Nintendo feel. But now? It looks like they’re ditching that classic mechanic in favor of something less satisfying and possibly more fragile.

Instead of the smooth, slide-in Joy-Con attachment, it now looks like you just slap them into place. And that proprietary connector in the middle? Yeah, that thing looks flimsy and prone to breaking.

Nintendo, why are you doing this? The Switch’s design was already perfect, and this change feels like a downgrade rather than an improvement. If that connector isn’t sturdy enough, we could be looking at a huge issue with durability.

Is this a step forward for innovation, or is Nintendo fixing something that wasn’t broken? Let’s talk about it in the comments!
