Frank Atwood post-execution news conference

An Arizona prisoner convicted in the 1984 killing of an 8-year-old girl was executed Wednesday in the state’s second execution since officials started carrying out the death penalty in May after a nearly eight-year hiatus.

Frank Atwood, 66, died by lethal injection at the state prison in Florence for his murder conviction in the killing of Vicki Hoskinson, whose body was found in the desert. She went missing months earlier after leaving her home in Tucson to drop a birthday card in a nearby mailbox.

Terrible, horrible and awful to hear the descriptions, the composure, of the "spectators" of how they killed a man with the blessings of the law. And all this today and in the "progressive" America. This "justice" does not bring the victim back, they could sentence him to life. The right to come and go in this life is only in the hands of God. Worst of all, if an innocent person has been convicted, because history has shown many times that the system has made many mistakes. God rest the victims and him in peace!

Simple facts: Vicki disappeared at 3:15, Atwood was seen back at Stone Park by 4:00, but the body was found at a location requiring an hour of driving. It is impossible for Atwood to be the author of the crime. May his soul rest in peace!
