I say the OPPOSITE.

When you insist on "no contact", you will break your "own heart" and crush your humanity along with it. Close the door, keep your boundaries, maintain ground conditions and have very clear rules of engagement, whatever... but never permanently lock the door.

I've seen hearts harden to STONE through "no contact".

Over 6 months no contact and almost a year since he last saw me in person. The previous no contact with him lasted almost 2 months. I broke it by wishing him a belated birthday on text which he replied happily to and unblocked me right after it. I then screwed it up weeks later by pushing him to see me again.

My ex went back to their ex ( I think) last month but not following her socials any longer, broke NC 14 days ago, back at it, her ex never treated her well, i dont get it, but staying strong Lucia - lord help me :)
