As I saw in a different comment on here, I also wonder why he was able to control electricity. I feel like that ability was so uneeded and dumb to add. It made for some scary scenes but like i think it was dumb, like it kinda just came out of nowhere. They went with the science route to explain Gabriel and I like that, but the super powers just didn't fit.

For y'all wondering anything: literally everything they said and did was not important to the plot, most things were said once then never referenced again. I don't even think James Wan knows, this whole movie was like bad scenes cut from other movies.
