The initial lock up led to Lesnar shoving Hogan halfway across the ring with such ferocity that Hogan’s bandana came right off his head.

For the most part, Lesnar dominated but of course the company put in a few spots where Hogan, the wounded veteran, got in a few shots on his own.

It wasn’t a totally clean victory for Lesnar as Heyman did interfere to stop the leg drop, but the finish was dominant as Lesnar busted up Hogan’s ribs from a bearhug and the referee called the match, awarding Lesnar the victory by way of knockout.

Lesnar bashed Hogan's head open with a steel chair, and to elicit even more heat from the crowd, smeared the blood over his chest.
