AstraZeneca Employees Detained in China: CEO Says Firm Is Working With Authorities

AstraZeneca CEO Pascal Soriot discusses China’s detainment of five current and former employees for questioning about potential illegal activities. "We are working very closely with the authorities," Soriot said during an interview on Bloomberg Television, Tuesday. "But it's impossible to have a compliance officer being each and every one of our field based employees," he added. "We believe that China will remain an important part of our company."
