Disney Snow White: New Trailer, Same Woke Feminist Disaster

Disney delayed their live-action remake of Snow White after a disastrous round of PR from lead actress Rachel Zegler and massive backlash about the film’s apparent replacing of dwarves with magical diversity creatures. Now, despite months of re-shoots and edits, the newly released trailer and a leaked song from the film confirm what we’ve known all along: Disney is still prioritizing its agenda over classic storytelling. Let’s talk about it.

Tell me why anyone thinks Snow White needs to be some powerful leader? That’s not even what the story is about. It’s just about a jealous stepmother resentful of her stepdaughters beauty, so she ultimately tried to murder her. The literal moral of the story is vanity will not get you fat but kindness will. So ultimately the story should be about how kind and beautiful Snow White is, effortlessly. And how that can get you far in life. The base form of a literal Disney Princess.

Like 15 years ago, my husband's cousin was like "Snow White gives SUCH unrealistic and harmful messages to young girls!" and I was like "I know right! All the times I've cleaned my house, and little forest animals have NEVER shown up and helped!" I don't think she's talked to me since. 🤷‍♀

In the 1937 version Snowihte cleaned the house because she thought that children live there since all the staff are small, she thought they were orphans with no one who took care of them and it would be a nice thing to do, she decided to take care of the house so they would let her live with them (sorry for the grammar my english is not very good 😅)

The problem is Disney is making girl bosses, trying to make characters who are already strong, stronger, and they are doing it by making them masculine. Which is so wrong because all of Disney's heroines were strong. Nothing can beat the magic of the original Classics.

Snowwhite breaks into the house of the dwarves.
Then she FORCES the dwarves to work for HER, after they worked all the time in the mine.
Snow White was supposed to be lighthearted and good - not a slaver.

Propaganda aside, it just looks so ugly. Except for Cinderella 2015, every remake is so devoid of color, fun, and imagination. All the backgrounds and side characters had charm and whimsy. There is no more magic.

This breaks my heart... when I was little I loved the idea of true love, and a man loving me and taking care of me while we respected each other in holy matrimony... but now I'm looked down upon. Whenever I talk about that to my female friends they give me a weird look... tell me that, I shouldn't be stuck in the kitchen and that, I can do so much more. And I know I can! They are disrespecting people with dwarfism by using CGI as if there aren't real actors with dwarfism that exist. Also, I'm sick of Disney changing the race of all the white princesses. I'm black and it's getting on my nerves. Nothing about the original Snow White showed that she was oppressed or underprivileged in any way. As a woman, this unreasonable push of unrealistic feminism in movies and media is ridiculous and I'm tired of it. Disney is ruining all the classics that we loved in our childhood because of these stupid agendas

We decided after having our first baby that all of our children will only ever watch the classic Disney. Modern Disney is NOT it.
