SURPRISING MY LONG DISTANCE BOYFRIEND

TO CLEAR THINGS UP:
I wanted to surprised my boyfriend (now husband) by flying across the country to see him, so with the help of his buddy Josh we orchestrated a plan. I told him I was going camping with my dad and wasn’t going to have service, my dad took me to the airport and I took a selfie with him and everything to be convincing. From then on I turned off my location and went on my flights. On his end, Josh told him that his dad was going to come into town, and asked my husband to make the hour and a half drive to the airport to pick him up. My flight didn’t come in until midnight so Josh and him went to dinner and Josh got him to drink a little so he would really not suspect a single thing. Eventually I landed and Josh and him were at the airport waiting for Josh’s dads arrival. Josh placed my husband and told him that he needed to go to the bathroom, but actually he grabbed me and took my luggage and I gave him my phone so he could record his reaction. He truly was in a state of shock. He was looking at my pictures on instagram, I saw them as I walked up, and then saw someone sit next to him, he then swiped away and set his phone down to be respectful to acknowledge who it was. I absolutely know what it looks like but it truly took him a second to realize it was me and the alcohol definitely didn’t help. Just to note Josh did not drink so he was safe to drive. Again, I understand the body language comments but he truly thought I was another girl who was gonna hit in him or something. He told me he thought he was dreaming so that’s why he wiped his eyes! His friend Josh said sorry because he felt bad for lying to him this whole time. No shade, no tea, just a man who couldn’t believe his girl, was in front of him! I was happy with his reaction, as you can tell it was truly genuine.

I understand this is what happens when you put stuff online but understand this is a couple second video of two random people you don’t know. Kindness goes farther ❤

It looks to me like he was trying not to cry in front of his friend and you at being so happy to see you, and was trying to regain composure. Putting his hat over his eyes, taking a second away, then coming back and realizing his friend was in on it, he just let it all out and grabbed you for the longest hug. Me and my hubby did long distance at first too. I know how a reunion feels all too well. So happy for you both❤
