These guys actually work. A concept some people don’t understand. They make pennies and still have a smile. Makes me appreciate what I have

These guys always amaze me. Hard working, old school tools. No airtools, not even a ratchet. Yet they get the job done

this truck's new life basically depends on the two welds. I love how useful is welding!

You will never find me under any vehicle, supported by a jack. More power to these brave men.

THESE MEN ARE SUPER HUMANS~!!! I'm a weekend Mechanic and I am totally blown away by the near impossible repair on a huge truck in the middle of the street with the simplest of hand wrenches and wooden blocks and absolutely no consideration for safety for themselves. I can't admire them enough for what they do and I only hope they all live through these incredible repair jobs they do. They deserve so much more~!! Bless Them~!! 🙏🙏

These guys are amazing. Doing this extremely difficult job with basic tools on the side of the road in flip flops.

WOWW!! REWELDING those broken main springs after they have already been weld repaired once which more than likely caused their failures again at the 1st welds is insanity as one never ever welds leaf springs... Ever... Notice the previous weld repairs to the top main springs just beyond the double wraps.. And the failures along the weld repairs ... No bueno, no good, no...And then towards the end it shows 2 new main double wrapped leaf springs being installed at the top of the spring pack ?!?!?!.. Much better than welded, non quenched, repaired springs... 👌

Vow! Very impressive! They don't sell motor parts, they make them and best of all they repair themselves, any kind of damage, little or unrepairable stage they can modify. So repairing any kind of excessively damaged vehicle is almost 100% guaranteed. Furthermore the quality of teamwork service by these very skilled people is highly commendable. However their quality of work only professional mechanics would know.

While I admire their abilities and ambition, I’m not sure that the failure wasn’t from a previous repair. Kingpins don’t bust their axle ends in the middle of the road without any accident or visible road hazard. In my 79 years, I’ve been a welder, engineer and now a truck driver ……… this repair would scare me. 😢

Saw you and Avery in a Cafe in November 2018. I did not realize you guys would become such a pleasure in my life. I judt got a glance from your eye. I wished I could have taken a picture with you.
You guys are very entertaining. I do work on my 83 LeBaron a bit and appreciate the difficulties. Keep it up guys.

The thing i really like about this. You get to see up close the repair itself. Simple tools and trouble shooting strategies

To make sure everyone knows this.
These repair techniques are EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. The front axle is either forged or cast, the former is almost impossible to weld properly, the latter is completely impossible. Same goes for the leaf spring, it's a special kind of steel which you can't weld. These welds won't last, the one on the axle will simply let go, and the one on the spring will break right next to the weld.
This solution is only acceptably if you are putting this axle under the truck only to get it off the road more easily to a workshop, where they replace it asap.
No wonder there are so many deaths on the roads of those countries...
