Henry was smiling from one side of his smokebox to the other. He was on his way back from Crewe, rebuilt to have a bigger firebox after his accident with the Flying Kipper. He felt young and as alive as he did when he was first built. Once he was back on the island, many were surprised to see old, cowardly, and sick Henry had given way to a confident, strong and healthy tender engine. Some of the others thought he was a replacement, but Gordon, James and Edward knew otherwise. Their old friend was back and better than ever.

Henry embodies what it means to over come all challenges in life.

Henry is a hard-working, kind-hearted big green 4-6-0 tender engine with red stripes. He runs the mainline with passengers and freight. He is best known as the engine who pulls the fish train called The Flying Kipper. He tends to complain about needing repairs, but he is still a Really Useful Engine. He once was rebuilt into a new shape that was more suitable for him, as he had started with a firebox that was much too small. After using Welsh coal for a while, he was rebuilt at Crewe with a bigger firebox. He is the Island of Sodor's number 3 engine.

Henry has been through so much in his unfortunate life, so whenever I hear this theme, I'm always incredibly happy for the big guy

Henry will always be one of my favourite Engines from the original series and books especially since you could argue even back then he was the disabled character among the team but this shows he can try his damndest even through his limitations when he had his old shape
