Watch our new video "So Low" from our new album Prologue. This is a Cinematic Pop original song by Spencer Jones and Rob Gardner.
The video captures the live performance at Air Studios with the LSO (London Symphony Orchestra). This was a transformative moment. There was pure silence when the song ended and we all looked at each other and knew we had experienced something really special. We're glad you get to experience it now too.

Here's the backstory for this song (by Spencer Jones):
"I started writing this song on a guitar in my little Mesa apartment two years ago. At the time, my little sister was going through a difficult time and was living with me in Arizona. The lyrics of "So Low" were written the night before she entered a wilderness program called Anasazi. I felt that I had let her and the rest of my family down by not being able to help her in all the ways I hoped. I had no idea at the time that her experience here in Arizona would end up being a huge blessing in her life. Two years later I could not be more proud of the woman she has become. I'm thankful for the power of music and how it gave me a way to express how I felt that night. I'm also grateful to the Producers of Cinematic Pop for deciding that "So Low" belonged on this album. I never could have imagined on that night when I was at one of my lowest points that I would have the opportunity to share
the song in this way and record it in London with the London Symphony Orchestra. It is my hope that when you listen you will know that you're not alone, that it is OK to fall and that knowing you are not alone will help give you the strength to get back up again."

Lyrics by Spencer Jones:
Have you ever been so low?
Yes you had a heart, but it's been gone since they let you go.
If you ever feel that you're own your own,
then sing with me until I get home.
Because I'm feeling low,
yes I'm feeling so low.
Have you ever walked when you said you wouldn't?
Longed to be who they wanted but you couldn't?
Did you run away when it got too hard?
Were you afraid to hurt the eyes that loved?
And regret takes hold, won't let go.
These nights are long when this thought we know,
that always wasn't far away.
Have you ever been so low?
Cause I'm feeling low.
Yes I'm feeling so low.
Have you ever held a heart that's been broken?
I knew a girl, she shined so bright it hurt to look but,
he stole her dreams, took her shining eyes.
He broke them so bad they can't even cry.
Regret takes hold, won't let go.
These nights are long when this thought we know,
that always wasn't far away.
Have you ever been so low?
Because I'm feeling low.
Cuz I'm feeling so low.
We are,
we are on our own but
we are,
we are not alone.
Because I know you've fallen too.
and God knows I've fallen too.
Do you ever feel you grew up too fast?
You'd give anything if you could just go back,
But what do we gain looking to the past?
Rose colored themes to our broken dreams.
And regret takes hold, we grow old.
These years are long when this thought we know,
that always wasn't far away.
Have you ever been so low?
Cause I’m feeling low.
Yes Im feeling so low.
