spoiler for katana/beam sword: They are NOT better on things than a test dummy. Unless you're fighting something the size of an alpaca king or jormungtide, you're just going to whiff, a lot. The new swords feel really bad to use...

I have been tempted to go with the compound bow but the semi auto rifle damage was basically equivalent and buying the ammo for the rifle isnt bad at all especially with my noble/fine furs team to reduce costs. I prefer purchasing ammo over having to craft it as money isnt a huge issue

I like the new plasma / electric weapons. And it's nice that Pocketpair adds more early game weapons making the game more fun.

Like at 09:20.. literally what the actual f--k!! Like the percentage of those schematics dropping is like 0.06% or less!! Like what are these devs thinking and with such low chances!! What is the actual point of ever trying to get those schematics?? Like we will all die from old age before any of us find one!!

Hope they fix the lazer sword to be a normal attack. so it can double as a pickaxe or regular axe lol

Just a heads up, the weapon schematics do drop from some of the chests on feybreak island. I got a legendary laser gatling schematic from the chests in the Kitsun Noct boss cave. I've never raided any of the oil rigs.

So what would be the best weapon now in the game? I would love to see a comparison between the Grenade launcher, multi missle launcher (aka Quad) and the Plasma gun

Don' t sleep on Meowmere. The projectiles it shoots out can hit multiple times as they pass through an enemy and they are pretty good about finding the weakspot so Meowmere is capable of doing much more damage than it looks like it would on paper. The main caveat with Meowmere is that it seems to be much more effective on some enemies than on others. Vanwyrms, for example, don' t take much damage, but Susaku's take a bunch of damage from Meowmere projectiles. This seems to be because of the way Meowmere's projectiles interact with the hurt boxes of enemies. Either way, Meowmere can be very useful.

Meowmere is perfect for safespotting legendaries. It's insanely durable. It won't do a ton of damage, but you won't be wasting a ton of ammo on the legendary pals. I've taken down Frostallion, Jetragon, Necromus and Palladius, as well as using the weapon exclusively from level 30-36 and then off and on (currently level 54). I haven't repaired it once, and I still have like 33% of it's durability left. This thing lasts forever.

It can also multi hit large enemies, like tower bosses or alpha pals. So even though it only does like 60 damage a swing, it'll do it 3 or 4 times. Has unlimited ammo, because it doesn't use ammo, and is a free ranged attack. honestly pretty solid.

I think a high powered rifle like the mandalorians would be so cool. I just feel like the variety is a bit lacking in the end game, either launchers or miniguns.

It looks like you unlocked everything - so there’s enough points between the level increases and the teleport locations to get all of the items? I’m level 58 and have a lot not unlocked yet.

IMO I went with the makeshift assault rifle mainly because i had a blueprint for one 1st plus it is WAY better then the musket early game imo altho SMG is also decent

If it helps anyone you can get makeshift legendary BPs out of the sanctuary chests. I pulled the AK one out of one of those
