Our 12 hour observation stack for the Orion Nebula from this past month! wow!!!

I’ve really gone to the next level with my #astronomy from my backyard. The latest feature on our #telescope from @vaonisdotcom allows us to continue observing the same objects in the sky, night after night, stacking the image and getting super long exposures. Some are over 24 hours now…The results are breathtaking!

Don’t get me wrong - I’ve seen ‘better’ pictures of the same stellar objects. But there’s something magical about capturing it yourself and seeing how much of this tiny patch of the universe we can pull out. And we’re getting better at it every time #newengland decided to have a clear night 😉🔭
