Orange juice is heavier in earth than it is in space. If he brought home some light orange juice from space, then this wouldn’t have happened

I think this speaks volumes about just how flexible and plastic the brain is. Through out the entirety of our evolution, going back to the very beginnings of life on earth, gravity has always been a factor to consider, and it's reflected in our physiology. You would assume that experiencing gravity would be hard wired in our brains, beyond forgetting, but no, it's learned and if the situation demands it, it can be forgotten for the sake of a whole new way to interact with your environment. That's so fascinating to me and really puts into question just how much of what we assume "human nature" truly is just "nature."
