This is exactly what happened with the Pharisees and they struggled to understand why Jesus was so strong and had so much authority in his words

This is what we need as followers of Christ, THE TRUTH, a pastor who is holding us accountable, not just trying to make us feel good, the uncomfortable feeling is needed to begin to change because you’re being convicted.

There was a video were he talked about pastors allowing people to be in the church fornicating before marriage and they pretend it’s ok when it’s not. You have to be at the point of real growth for this to make sense back then I would think “at least I’m coming to church” not realizing the hypocrisy.

God thank you for changing my life and my heart and I pray that anyone reading this will follow you and not lead themselves into eternal darkness. In Jesus mighty name, amen.

You are right pastor Rich to a certain extent, Jesus is the word of God John 1:1-14. To get to know Jesus on a personal level is obtained through the power and wisdom of the Holy Spirit, but to say that Jesus isn't the word of God is completely false.

It's more than just memorizing scriptures. If we're judge and tested on scriptures, I wouldn't be able to recite more then just a handful. But I know God and he knows me. He knows my heart and my true intentions. He uses me as a vessel almost every day to fill his other children's cups. I just love when the Holy Spirit jumps into me to guide my hands.
