What if I want a rounded 3D effect? For example, if I just did a 3D letter effect, finished the shadows and highlights, but I want it a smooth rounded effect, if I did this would it round it out, or would it just ruin the whole thing?

I apologize if that doesn’t make sense, I have 3 brain injuries so I don’t always verbalize what I mean correctly.
