I... have something to admit. I MISS THE TOUCH BAR

Upgraded to the New M1 Max 16" MacBook Pro, but I realized one thing... I used to use the Touch Bar all the time hahaha.

touchbar is underrated. I love it. When I write something the word pops up and I don't need to write it entirely, and it saves time. Also for the emojis. I write the word happy 😃 and you see on the touchbar I have that happy emojis. When I am on a computer with no touchbar I feel stressed and sad. I love touchbar.

Wish they add the Touch Bar as an optional upgrade when you buy a Mac. Win for those who want it and win for those who don’t, they can save a few bucks.

In a perfect world they’d offer it to other macs too not just the Pro. Imagine a MacBook Air with Touch Bar 😍 that be the best portable machine.

Touch Bar was awesome, I use it all the time, but people whined about it so much, basically bullied apple into removing it. This is why we can’t have nice things.

I never understood the hate towards the Touch Bar. Why wouldn’t anyone want a limitlessly configurable Touch Bar that adapts to the applications you’re in. I wish I could have it on my iMac.

The touchbar felt like an idea that didn't expand 😭 I like some of those laptops that have a secondary display next to the keyboard and can do a lot more, lol. The touchbar stayed itty bitty instead. Oh well.

I’m about 80% on your side, as the TouchBar is pretty useful… especially when you get used to it and customise it… I do notice that the touchbar gets really hot though and I’ve had it freeze up on me a few times… maybe there were reliability issues with the boosted temps being pushed out that front vent in the new M1 Pro and M1 Max

I am someone that uses their touch bar for Adobe Programs like InDesign and Illustrator so I am hoping in future MacBook Pros that the touch bar will come back because those shortcuts are helpful and save quite a bit of time!! And FYI you can customize your touch bar so you instead of accidentally hitting Siri you can change it to nothing which is what I've done. How you do that is System Presences to Keyboard then select Customize Control Strip and make it however you want it to!

i have the m1 mac with touch bar(last years) and im so happy. I always use it for volume, emojis and its so versatile. I cant believe that they got rid of it.

I am so glad you mentioned the touchbar, I use it all the time too. I have a 2020 intel MBP, but I just ordered the 16in max, not sure how I will live without the touchbar as well, I use it every single day, it is a time saver💔

Love this ! To produce music and edit music and other visual arts, touchbar is absolutely efficiency, productivity and creative inducing, it's just so damn fun to use, and so pretty to see there too! My maxed out 16in i9 touchbar is still mint and strong ha. Thank you!

I thought of this when people stated they don't use the touch bar. I've used it for brightness in video editing, and it's easy to always select the right brightness and the same for volume. Plus, you can just move your finger the second you touch the button, it's only one step for those, not two steps like most people claim. The other thing I liked was the ability to select a word I was having trouble spelling as 3 suggested words pop up while you are typing. And yeah I shoot with CFExpress so I still gotta use the dongle lol

Some people said they didn’t like the Touch Bar, be cause that was what all the cool kids were saying. So they just went along. People feel more comfortable going along with crowd.

The touch bar in Microsoft PowerPoint is amazing as well. With one tap I can create a textbox, see all my layers, (I don't even know how to do this withoutthe touchbar)
