Luminara Unduli is a mirialan Jedi introduced in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. In that movie she was only a background character but since then she has been expanded upon in other media. Despite this extra coverage, I still think that she fails to receive the recognition she deserves, so today I'm looking at why Luminara Unduli deserves more credit. I hope you enjoy!

I have always shown respect for this jedi and if i was her padawan I would treat her with respect for how good a Jedi and a mentor she is.

The only thing I’d add is that is that Luminara was one of the few prominent Jedi masters to survive Order 66–the fact that she was eventually arrested and then executed implies that she must have evaded capture for a while after the initial order

I think in many ways, Luminar Unduli exemplifies what it meant to be a Jedi, especially during the high Republic era, but I think she certainly fell into the dogma of the Jedi order closer to the end of the clone wars

Her abilities as a Jedi and a master were strong. Bariss and anakin were the only padawans to survive the arena so it shows luminara trained bariss well enough to defend herself against countless blaster bolts being thrown her way

Thanks You, I Want See Her Spoke Like A Force Voice To Barriss Offee In Ahsoka 2 And Making Barriss Offee's Redemption Possible (If It Happens, Although Well, Anything Is Possible With Luminara)

A small correction: Barriss didn't fall; she just opened herself to the darkness. The real fall might be this week :)

As for Luminara herself, I love her character, but I don't see her as entirely positive character, nor do I consider her a villain.
Luminara's intentions are often noble, but the path she chooses is often extremist. Additionally, we can blame her for what happened to Barriss. On the one hand, she prepared Barriss well, but on the other hand, she was never there when her Padawan needed her. Furthermore, the logic Barriss follows is Luminara's logic - fight evil at any cost. (They can't just let go)
