This only works if you have a 1-high overhang. If you don't, you can still build a 2-wide gap on top of it and use the OPPOSITE direction to spin it in (ccw for S, cw for Z)

Idk why im saying this but there is an old game called Tetris Party Deluxe that is a Wii game and allows all-spins and i tried it with Z, S, L, and J piece and it actually counted them as a spin
