Honestly the pether nortal is the best.

In bedrock (probably in java too idk) you can use commands to place obsidian in certain places of the portal to create funny or great shapes (yes, you *can* make the pether nortal)

You should do a video on how if you break a block fast enough on bedrock edition and replace it fast enough a torch attached will stay while on java it will break no matter how fast you replace it

I actually sort of did this myself but with a look of more like it came out of a big chunk of ore like amethyst. I used cobblestone to make a chunky cut-in-half stone type of look and put inside some warped roots and crimson vines to make it look like a run-down cave pocket into my portal. It looks pretty awesome ❤

Try with marble blocks. Something like roman architecture incasing the portal.

I like to decorate them with netherack, magma, and fire. It’ll make it look like the nether is spilling into the overworld.
