I install mine in the upper corner close to the window. This way, it’s easier to see because it’s closer (less head turn), and putting it on top enables me to see the curb when parking (and I also don’t need to see what’s on top by blocking it with the additional mirrors). My car also has a magnified curved section on the far side of the side mirror.

The only problem with installing them in the bottom corner (in my case) is the mirror's housing partially blocks my blind spot mirror.... Great video, thank you for posting, very straight forward and informative!

This type can also be installed onto the side mirror without the black plastic thing. Imo, it works just as good and looks much better.

I would suggest not taking out the outermost ring's gum paper.

I use to use them long time ago. By adjusting the mirrors correctly you don't need them.
