I adore the latest SPG live version of this since I'm partial to your deeper voiced performances, but I love the emotionality you've always given that final verse, regardless of the differences in how you sing it.

I've always loved this song, and especially this version of it, but it became a favorite after I stood in a long line after a SPG show to get autographs, and my brother and I began singing this with some other waiting fans. We had never met before, and I'll probably never see them again, but we all knew this song well enough to quietly run through it a couple times. It was beautiful.

Didn't expect to be able to smash like twice on my preferred version of one of my favorite SPG songs, but here we are. [I actually checked my playlist because I assumed this version had been saved from the private channel and not the band channel.]

Woah, I actually love this version so much. There were also a few moments where you sound a lot like your sister in this, which I know is weird to say but I couldn't help but feel like Bunny was singing parts of this.

David, did you know this would ever be used for the space album or was it just one of those things you did and fit into the storyline?

So, I was watching a video on another artist's channel and one of the comments quoted the chorus to this song (because the artist was trying to do art with fire/a blowtorch). It was kind of awesome running into an SPG fan in the wilds of the YouTube comment section where you would least expect it. That being said, I love this version. The clean sound, the softer tone used when the background music drops out, and that final whispered, almost silent "Fire" gives it such a different tone.
