I've been to the Diamond and Flower Ferris wheel at Kasai Rinkai Park in Tokyo a couple of times. Fantastic, unobstructed views unlike other ferris wheels. Disneyland Tokyo is also visible. Very cheap too at only 800 yen per ride, which is about $6 USD.

You got the wrong Riesenrad in Vienna, Austria. The famous and much bigger one is not in "Böhmischer Prater" but in "Wurstelprater" and has a height of 65m, built in 1897. From 1928 to 1985 it was the biggest Ferris Wheel in the world.
